Can Olivia
Cala Tarida, Ibiza, Spain
Can Olivia is a private residence by Jordi Carreño, set within Sabina Ibiza. The six-bedroom property provides 741 m² of interior space on a 2,349 m² plot. The design responds closely to its setting, with the house positioned between areas of dense vegetation, agricultural land and a landscaped garden that extends into the living spaces.
Located on Ibiza’s west coast, around 500 metres from the sea, the house is oriented towards the landscape and the island’s sunsets. Floor-to-ceiling glazing creates long, uninterrupted views through the interiors and out towards the garden, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside while allowing the building to sit lightly within its surroundings.
Ibiza lever handles and pull handles by Groël were specified throughout the residence in graphite Powercoat (PVD), PWGT. The collection’s signature textured surface and deep metallic tone complement the natural material palette and understated character of the architecture.
