Maison de Village

Maison de Village is the transformation of a traditional village house, where the original architecture is reworked through a contemporary lens. Led by DJAA Architecture Design and ETH Bruno, the renovation carefully balances the building’s heritage with a new architectural language designed for modern living. Located in Grignan, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, the house draws on the character of its historic setting and the surrounding Provençal landscape to create a quiet, intimate retreat.

The Groël Special 247 lever handle was specified in matt black (BK). Its clean geometry and dark finish provide a precise contrast to the interior palette, while remaining understated within the overall architecture.
